Women

Women are strong

they stand

they fight

they endure

for those they love

Women are smart

they teach

they calculate

they appreciate

for the things they have

Women are beautiful

they preach

they give

they forgive

without asking for return

But,

women are women

In any shape,

in any dress,

in any skin,

deep down they know

they are women,

deep down we know

they are women,

deep down you know

they are women,

and..

deep down he should know

she is a woman

On Top of the Hill

On top of the hill I’m standing,

watching and wondering

of all the blue and green

of the leaves hissing

of the branches dancing

of the diamonds floating

for how long will it be lasting?

On top of the hill I’m standing,

overlooking all things yonder

to find what I adore

to question the future

to interpret this metaphor

as a praise to the illustrator

of the earth and sky beyond

Hidup dan ajal

Maka tidakkah kamu memahaminya?”

(Q.S. Al An’am : 32)

Waktu terlewat.

Lupa taubat meski banyak nikmat.

Berapa tahun lagi akan terlewat?

Sudah berapa maksiat?

Hidup sungguh bukan main-main. Begitu ruginya kalau tidak digunakan sebaik mungkin.

Pun begitu. Takwa kuncinya. Takwa kepada Allah SWT.

Bukan sekedar menjadi muslim. Bukan sekedar iman.

Beku lidahku, kering tenggorokanku. Hanya hatiku dan pemilik hati yang tahu.

Lain aku, lain mereka

Deep down in the sea, there lies a heart you never see.

Deep down in the sea, there lives a thousand of fish to tell you a story.

Memories

Memories were made.
Time flies so fast.
Things have changed.
Moments stuck in your mind.
You cannot go back
no need for you to do so.
All you want to do is just
to keep those memories
as precious as they were.
Do you know why?
Because memories are too beautiful to be forgotten.
Because memories are too powerful to be erased.
Because memories are just.. memories

Celebrating Eid Al-Fitr

Capture

When we were in the field to sholat Eid. It was taken almost a year ago.

Eid Al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadhan. It is the feast for every muslim in this world after they have been fasting during daylight hours in Ramadhan month. In this day, all muslims gather along in the field to pray or sholat Eid. But before that, they have to fulfil their Zakat first. Zakat is charitable giving in the form of money or 2,5 kg of rice given to those who are trapped in poverty and those who deserve to receive. Therefore in this day all people can share the happiness of the feast. Every door is left open as the invitation to people to come over. A plenty of cakes in the pots are served nicely in every house. People pay visits to their neighbors and extended families. They apologize and ask forgiveness to each other. But for the kids, the joy of Eid Al-Fitr is when the hosts give them money if they visit their house. It is a time for them to collect money! People do this in order to educate the children to visit their neighbors and tighten their bond or silaturahmi. But for the kids, as long as they get money, they are happy!
