Memang susah-susah gampang menemukan teman yang sama-sama hobi keluyuran dan mudah untuk diajak jalan kemana-mana, alias gampangan diajak jalan jalan. Hahaha. Yah untungnya saya punya lah, meskipun cuma satu yang setia menemani. Bisa diajak kemana-mana saat otak mulai penat. Teman semacam ini patut dijaga dan dilestarikan! Siapa? Emyl lah.. siapa lagi yang paling intens muncul di blog ini kalo engga dia. XD
Ada kesan yang berbeda ketika saya memasuki kawasan kampung nelayan di desa Bangsring, Banyuwangi. Ramah, sederhana dan hebat! Itulah yang saya rasakan. Dari awal kedatangan sampai mau pulang, saya merasa dijamu dengan baik oleh para nelayan desa Bangsring. Diawali dengan pembelian tiket, pemberian instruksi oleh guide lokal, sampai dengan obrolan ringan dengan bapak Sukir ketika mengantri kamar mandi.
Looking back when the first time I saw a picture of my seniors visiting Green bay (Teluk Ijo), I thought it is a very quiet beach that you can count how many people come just with your fingers. But it was a long time ago, maybe two or three years ago. Of course people have recognized this beach overtime. When Emyl asked me to join the trip to Kawah Wurung, I wasn’t so sure to say yes. I’ve got a kind of allergic to cold temperature recently so I was afraid of the chignon coming then I would scratch my neck and my stomach all the time. Just thinking about it, I felt annoyed. It’s just embarassing. But when I thought about the camp, I couldn’t help myself to imagine of me sleeping under the stars. It must be awesome, I thought. “Okay, I am in!” my finale words.
It was hard to believe finally I could join on this trip. At first my dad didn’t give me permission to go anywhere during his trainer ship unless two hours before our train departure schedule, suddenly he told me I could go. Hihi asik!
After having so much assignments and exams lately, finally we could have a joy trip to Red Island. Red Island is the name of a beach in Banyuwangi. It’s called Red Island because if you come to the beach when the sun goes down, a small hill in the middle will look red because of the sunlight.
